    Interesting it is. But sometimes these foodies forget the simple fact that bacon in all of its' unevenness is perfect. If some parts of the fat cook and some remain raw and bubbly, if some of the meat is seared while other parts stay soft, that is the essence of bacon. To "perfect" a piece of food makes it regimented, expected, unsurprising and standard. To put a political imprint or daily message on your toast is nice. Why question whether it would "taste political?" If my breakfast toast told me, "don't fuck up today," I'd enjoy it and love it.
